Chalet Robaumont

A fantastic chalet for an extended family Positive: Chalet has a wonderful location, is roomy and comfortable for a large extended family. The living area is bright with space for everyone. It has a regular family sized fridge with freezer which was very useful. The beds are comfortable, there is an area to store ski and snow equipment. It is ideally set up for small children with some toys and games. There is even a path outside for the children to slide down. Heating can be adjusted individually in each room. There are spices coffees and teas and basic food in the cupboards. Plenty of cupboard space. Negative: The heating in one of the rooms took a couple of days to fix but once it was done the room was warm. The carpets and fittings are a little dated but that was actually more comfortable for us with small children. The lighting could be stronger but once we put on all the lamps it was fine.

Spacious, traditional chalet in a perfect location. Positive: The most perfect location, a stunning chalet, set back from the road, the woods on one side and mountain View’s, …..100yds from the ski lifts,.. so close to bars, restaurants and the general buzz yet set in its own area, with balconies and the feeling of private space. ( no piste machine banging past at night either) The rooms are large, the main living area has picture windows on two sides which make the room airy and a pleasure to relax in, with an impressive centrally situated open fire. It’s a wonderful family home, wood panelled walls and ceilings, a large lobby for leaving skis and stuff. Sensibly organised, …loos separate from showers and baths….plenty of space… a joy to stay in… if you like the traditional feel of a proper ski chalet rather than the clinical, white, modern look.

Super Positive: Chalet très spacieux, d’un emplacement exceptionnel, une salle commune géniale , très confortable pour une grande famille , bonne insonorisation .. ambiance soft particulière Negative: Le parking aléatoire …. Avec difficulté de rester devant la maison pour simplement décharger les voitures ….

Very pleasant stay for a big group of friends for our ski holiday Positive: A very cosy chalet Beds are comfy, clean sheets & towels provided The view out of the lounge is spectacular Walking distance to the shops/restaurants, ski lifts Negative: It was quite difficult to find the location as it isn’t on the Google maps, but thankfully the owner provided information later with photos on how to identify the chalet as most of them look the same on the road. One of the toilet light doesn’t work. No heating/drying facilities for ski equipments in the entrance storage.
